What is ControlSignage?+
ControlSignage is a digital signage management application. It brings your content, editable designs, playlists, campaigns and displays into one browser-based workspace, so you can manage messages across sites and sub-sites.
How does the one-month free trial work?+
Create an account and verify your email. Your one-month trial starts after verification and includes all Pro features for up to 3 test devices. No card is required and you will not be charged automatically. At the end, choose Plus or Pro and confirm payment to continue. Your account, content and settings remain saved.
What's the difference between Plus and Pro?+
Plus is $3 USD per device per month and includes standard management features and current online/offline status. Pro is $5 USD per device per month and adds Proof of Play, downloadable playback reports, historical screen data and uptime trends. Your trial includes all Pro features.
What hardware do I need?+
You need a compatible display and Android player running the ControlSignage player application. A TV or monitor can be used with a compatible connected player. Hardware is not included; compatibility should be confirmed for your particular device before rollout.
Can I use both landscape and portrait screens?+
Yes. Screens and content have orientations, and playlist content follows orientation matching. Campaigns have separate landscape and portrait creative selections, with previews and warnings to help avoid mismatches.
Can I manage several locations together?+
Yes. Organize your displays into sites, sub-sites and areas. Use names, tags and Smart Groups to find your audience, and preview affected screens when assigning content or campaigns.
What does Proof of Play tell me?+
Proof of Play organizes playback records reported by the player, with analytics and downloadable reports. It is not independent verification that a physical display was powered on or that a person viewed the content. Proof of Play is available on Pro and during the free trial.
What happens if a player goes offline?+
Downloaded content can continue playing while a player is offline. New content, changes and playback reports require reconnection. Offline subscription-expiry enforcement is still being verified before launch; an offline device may continue cached playback after a subscription period ends.
Will I be charged when my trial ends?+
No. There is no payment card required to begin, no automatic trial conversion, and no automatic charges. A paid upgrade requires your explicit choice and confirmed payment. Online checkout and live email delivery are being prepared for launch.
